Since we will re-engage fully with yang activities in September, it’s important to fill your gas tank first. As we are entering the final week of August, here’s another short reminder.
Hold an intention during this coming week for yin activities (non-activities!)
The ocean is the ultimate example of yin. This video was taken during the Studio MBZ1 August Retreat in Eastham MA last Tuesday at sunset.
More options for yin activities could include:
- staring at any body of water, watching the waves
- listening to a meditation from the MBZ1 library
- listening to a cat purr
- simply being with a child as they play or sleep
- taking a nap
- eating diner with candlelight instead of electric lights
- reading a favorite poem to a friend, then telling them why it’s your favorite
