Belong
In the end, you probably don't -want- mindfulness. Because practicing mindfulness can be boring or you might get distracted away from it. There are hundreds of excuses that are appealing, and even legitimate, that can drag you away from practicing.
But you need it.
And, if you have people who rely on you, those people who are relying on you need the calm sanity that emanates from you when you are regularly practicing mindfulness.
And then, if you don't happen to have people who rely on you, then even more so, you need a calm sanity to keep yourself afloat in these times.
The Mindful Apocalypse studio is a gathering place for those who might not want to do mindfulness practice, but we do it anyway.
And, you might ask: how does that work?
We offer each other accountability, and support. We show up for each other even on those days when we can't show up for ourselves. We belong. And we are creating something that is greater than any one of us could achieve on our own.
