“I can’t do this.”
There are ups and downs for anyone who tries to weave a mindfulness practice into one’s life. Everyone says at some point, “I can’t do this.”
Even long-term practitioners and teachers experience that type of despair at different points in our practices.

It was probably March of 2019. I was having a conversation with Sunada Takagi on the phone. We were staring into the abyss that was the beginning of Covid lockdown.
She and I had both already had histories with meditation that spanned more than 20 years each.
As we were trying to map out a future for our mindfulness teaching practice, our conversation was about a) what we could do to support our mindfulness students, and b) what we could do to keep ourselves sane.
Sunada said simply: "This is what we've been meditating for."
And if you know, then you know how profound that statement was.
And if you don’t yet know, I’d love for you to join this ongoing conversation.
We’re having a studio members’ meeting on Sunday November 24th at 3pm. But, if you prefer recorded content, the MBZ1 Radio station now includes some of Sunada’s guided meditations in the broadcast rotation.
Always feel free to use the comments section here, and listen in to the radio broadcasts. Then, contact me or Sunada if you’d like deeper supports, such as mindfulness coaching sessions.
Take care,
