cat video 2

Since last week’s email was about a wild turkey’s interaction with a cat, studio member Casey offered to add this gem to our cat video library.

Recently, I was describing a new membership at our mindfulness studio. What’s the first step?

Well, the first doorway in is to simply read this email each Sunday.

Sometimes this Sunday email is just a short reminder to practice, sometimes it’s long winded, sometimes it includes a full 1minute audio of a cat purring, sometimes it’s clunky, sometimes it’s profound or inspiring, sometimes it’s weird and filled with typos…

The content itself is not really the point. The point is to know that a studio for mindfulness exists, and to know that the meditation circles that happen here are available to you, if you want them. If you want to meditate with us, or be clunky with us, or be weird with us as we face this world, that’s what the studio is here for.

Those of us who are coming to the studio office to do the work of mindfulness are doing what we can to create an infrastructure for regular practice. For ourselves, yes, since it’s important to put the oxygen mask on yourself first. But, also for you. If you can come here in-person or on zoom, that’s fantastic.

But if you can’t, we get it.

We’re still thinking about you and creating extra oxygen masks just in case you can show up sometime.
