Dissecting the calendar

Which does what?
Dissecting the calendar

The Mindful Boston calendar has many moving parts.

  • Focus— The part that helps everybody to stay focused with their practice is called the Studio Planner.
  • Participation— The part that brings us together in-person and online is called the Events Schedule.
  • Gifts— The printed calendar is published during the November gift-giving season.
  • Inspiration— And then, since we have a new practice theme to inspire us to keep practicing every month, we have a webpage for that.
Audios and videos for guided meditation are published online via the blog called “This Month’s Practice Blog.” And yes, that means that there are 12 monthly blogs set up as a calendar for practicing.
  • Consistency— The Studio Planner… Week 1 participate, week 2 watch, week 3 listen, week 4 check in, week 5 play.

Each of these different sub-calendars has its own usefulness towards our studio goal of COLLABORATION.

You are invited to collaborate on upgrading the calendar(s) and the other tools of practice at Mindful Boston.

What would you like to see?
Can you help with the names for each of these different types of calendar? This gets confusing! We need a better naming scheme…

Please submit your ideas at the collaboration page: mindfulboston.com/practice-notes
And, according to our Studio Planner, this is week 4. During week 4, our studio checks in with each other about how practice is going. You can use the same page to submit the form about how your practice is… or is not going.

Thanks!
