a sacred spot. Part 1
Hello MBZ1 folks,
We have retreat days and extended practice events scheduled quarterly here at the studio. Even if you don’t attend the offerings at MBZ1, it’s recommended to sit down with your own calendar and intentionally make a time to visit any spot that feels sacred to you. AND, not just visit. But put your phone away and let yourself be there, in that place, intentionally without distractions.
This is not just “something nice” to do.
It’s essential for keeping one’s head about water these days.
I recommend that you pull out your calendar right now and make a scheduled time and place happen (before you forget!)
As a reminder of how simple a sacred moment can be, this 21 second video depicts the light and shadows of a tranquil brook.
I took the video during my own practice time the Berkshire mountains last month. (And then I put my phone away!)
If you have a short video of a sacred moment that you would like to share with the studio, please email it to me. I will share studio members’ videos during December Sunday emails.
You are invited to our next local group event is in Arlington MA in two weeks. If you have been having a hard time carving out your own time for a sacred moment, this could support you.
