Mindful Boston has always offered the structure to help integrate mindfulness into real life. And this summer is no exception.

Your Sunday News this week is all about summer planning.

This year’s Summer Summit

Your Mindful Boston memberships include “tickets” to the meditation hall, a vote during the Summit Meeting, and an optional tent space at this year’s event.

Description
Saturday August 24th, Eastham MA, Cape Cod. 2 miles from the award-winning National Seashore beach and rail trail.
9am-10am. Coffee and muffins
10am-11am. Meditations
11am-12pm. Summit Meetings

Intention
Gathering. Setting intentions.
And then, of course… Beach walks! Mindful mini-golf!

Where to stay?
You don’t have to stay over.
A day trip to the Cape is great too.

That being said, staying overnight is fun. We have a campfire on Friday nights. Members can have a tent space for free. Our central location is also a short walk from the Sheraton Four Points, 2 motels, and a number of Airbnb options.

Time for yourself

Coming to Cape Cod with family, friends, partners, etc, can be an amazing part of your summer. AND, it can be an opportunity to negotiate a little time away for your mindfulness practice.

BUT, it’s important to give your loved ones a lot of notice so that it doesn’t surprise them that you’re gone for 3 hours on that Saturday.

Crafting time is a core practice at our studio.

A lot of care goes into wrestling with schedules. As said before, crafting time is a core practice at our studio.

In September, we’ll be even more intentional about crafting time. Stay tuned…
